Marshmella Designs released the cutest kit this week!  I love it!!  So far, it is only here:  Marshmella Designs, but may be released at other stores soon.  It is called RIGHT HERE.  I had to use it with these cute photos of Jacob that Amy gave me before she left for Tennessee.  She had taken the photos while she waited for Scott to arrive at LAX from his moving trip in the truck.  Amy picked him and his buddy up at the airport.  The sun was just beginning to set, and the shadows were perfect for her to snap a bunch of photos of our boy.  I love them all!!  I especially love the first photo!  Look at his gorgeous eye lashes!!  What a beautiful baby!!

Wow, another post this week!  :)  I have some more layouts to share--hopefully I'll catch up one of these days! haha!  One of the galleries I've posted a lot of my layouts to went down a few weeks ago, and we were told "it was only temporary" while they changed servers.  Well, the gallery is back up, but all my layouts are still gone.  I'm so disappointed!!  That is another reason I'd like them here too!!  :)

I have two layouts to share from a new kit by Marshmella Designs.  I used her new kit called Teen Scene, and it is currently at godigitalscrapbooking.com.  I made layouts of Adam and of Jacob--who are the oldest grandson and the youngest grandson!  They are both such great boys.  Adam is getting so tall and is such a sweetie!!  And Jacob is 8.5 months old now, and is quite chunky!!  And that SMILE is simply gorgeous!!  I swear that when he was visiting, he told me "I LOVE YOU."  If Amy hadn't heard it at the same time, I'm sure she'd think I was nuts, but she was there and can attest to it!!

The other layout I have to share is another layout of Jacob--but I used the same photo!  (I love that photo!)  I took that photo in the front yard when they were visiting a couple of weeks ago.  The other boys were playing in the sprinklers, and Amy was trying to keep Jacob entertained, so she was putting him over her head, and having him fly.  The sun was just right right in the sky, and I snapped this photo and caught his cute little smile.  It was such a fun day!!  I made the next layout with a kit by DayBreak Scraps Designs called Happy Go Lucky.  I also used a template by Tiffany Tillman for this layout.  Oh, which reminds me--I just finished up a class with Tiffany Tillman this morning--25 days of Summer Templates--(did I say I love templates?)  It was a fun class, and I learned more about PSE actually, then just working with templates!  The more I learn about that program, the more I love it!!
Anyhow, here is the other layout.

Thanks so much for looking!

Wow. Lots has happened since I posted last!!  Amy and her family should be arriving in Tennessee late tonight.  I miss them so much already!!  I loved having them here for the week before they left.  The kids are so much fun.  Jacob is getting so big so fast.  He won't remember California let alone Grandma and Grandpa!  I pray they enjoy their new home and new state.

Since I've posted,  I've been accepted as a CT member at the PlainDigitalWrapper site!  It seems like a fun site, although I haven't had much time yet to get acquainted.  After Amy and the family left, I've been busy trying to catch up on layouts for the various Creative Teams I'm on!  I look forward to getting to know everybody there.  Digital Scrappers are so friendly (well, that is NOT limited to digital scrappers!!)  I've found scrappers in general very friendly and helpful to each other!   I'm amazed at the talent in the scrapbook world!

My layouts that I have to share tonight are from designers at the PlainDigitalWrapper site.  One of the layouts is titled Trains!  You all know my husband is a model train enthusiast, and he fostered that love with the Bird boys while they were here.  It didn't take much fostering at all.  In fact, the love of trains may be inborn in little boys!  I used a kit called Boys Will Be Boys by Southern Creek Designs for the Train layout.  Besides the kit, I also used a blog freebie template.  You can find the kit here:  Boys Will Be Boys

The other two layouts were also made with a kit from Southern Cree Designs.  This kit is called Gone Fishin.
One layout is entitled Camp Here and the other one is entitled Sailing.  I used a Tiffany Tillman template for the Sailing layout!  Thanks so much for looking!!

I found a great new kit at digiscrapbookingmania from Just Jaimee called Just for Becky-Sugar and Spice!  It is so cute--all pink and "girly" looking.  I've been having fun making layouts with it!  You can find the kit here:
http://scrapbookingmania.com/store/Just-Jaimee-Just-For-Becky-Sugar-and-Spice-Full-Kit-Digital-Girl-Kit-PU-S4H.html   I'm trying hard to keep my mind off of Amy and Scott's move, so this kit has kept me busy.

Speaking of moving, Amy says everything is going to fit in their moving truck.  She says the packing is going well too.  They are filling up the truck right now!  Some of Scott's friends showed up to help them pack up the truck, then tomorrow, they will be coming here.  Scott leaves here Saturday with a friend to help drive the truck straight through to Tennessee.  After they unpack the truck at that end, they'll fly back to California.  Next Friday the family will pack up the car and start on their journey.

I used templates with all the layouts I'm going to share.   I used a template by Connie Prince on the Beach Girls layout.  Modern June supplied the template for the Fun in the Box layout, and a Tiffany Tillman template for the Sugar and Spice layout.  Thanks for looking!!

I just found out that one of the designers I CT for is participating in a designers challenge at CoolScrapsDigital!   How much fun is that!  You can pick up some freebie kits by visiting that site!  And while you're there, check out Jen C's Designs!!  Her kit is adorable!  Be sure to leave a comment because the comments count as points for their challenge!!  You can read all about it here:  Jen C Designs Blog.  Then go and enjoy!!

I have another beach layout to share today.  I used the same kit from Kerry Stewart that I used yesterday. It is called Down by the Sea, and can be found here: Down By the Sea  I also used a new word art release from Kathy Winters called Summer Lovin' that can be found here:  Summer Lovin'.

Besides the above two kits, I also used a template from the Tiffany Tillman class I'm currently taking at Renee Pearson's website.   My grandsons love visiting the beach.  There are always tide pools to explore, insects to inspect, and waves to hop!  But if those weren't available for some reason, I'm sure they'd find something else to do!  Thanks so much for stopping by!
I have two new layouts to share today.  I made both of them with a new kit by Kerry Stewart called Down By the Sea.  It's a fun kit that will be perfect for any beach or water related layouts!  It has one page that is quite unique.  It is sand colored, and has embossed looking sand castles on it.  You'll see it on one of the layouts.  I'll have another layout with this kit tomorrow when a kit by Kathy Winters is released!  I used one of her gorgeous titles for the page for tomorrow!!

You can find Kerry's cute kit here (isn't that crab adorable?? and how about that great title word??):

The next layout is a lift from Mindy Hansen who is being honored this week in the digi-forum over at 2 peas!  She has been a great inspiration to me since I became a digital scrapbooker.  Her layouts are always well put together!  :)

See ya again tomorrow!  :)

I was happy to be accepted to Jen C's design team this week, so this is my first post with her cute products!
Jen C Designs came out with a new kit today.  It is called Just Another Day.  It's perfect for just about any kind of a layout.
As you can see, it has great colors, cute embellishments, and great tags!  Everything about this kit is perfect!
I made three layouts using this kit!  I love them.  I used a template from Connie Prince for the first one!  The other two are all my design.  Oh, I almost forgot!  You can find the kit here:  http://scrapbookingmania.com/store/Jen-C-Just-Another-Day-Kit.html
The Bird boys visited us for a week in May, and Jonah and Noah had a great time playing with their bikes and ride-ons in our driveway.  It brought back lots of childhood memories for grandpa.  As you can see here, he fixed up Jonahs bike so it was noisy.  This was something that Earl loved doing when he was a kid.  He thought his bike was a motorcycle that way.  Jonah fell into that same trap, and loved the extra noise his bike made.  Silly boy!
The next layout has one of my all time favorite photos of the boys a year or so ago.  Jonah loved giving Noah big hugs as you can see here.  :)  Jonah loves his brothers.

The last layout is of Deb's girls with one of their birds they added to the family this past spring.  They still only have one bird, but I'm not sure if this particular bird is the first or second one they had.  One didn't last too long, so I'm hoping I got the right photos of the second bird!  :)   That is all I have to share today, but this week is going to be a busy one for the designers I CT for, so there are more layouts in the wings!

If you are looking for the blog hop, please see the June 3rd post!  :)  Thanks!

I have a couple of layouts to share today--both of them are from the new kit by Graham Like the Cracker and Ellie Lash.  The kit is called Island Cruising, and it is just adorable!  You can find the kit here:  http://scrapmatters.com/shop/product.php?productid=4982&cat=192&page=1
I made two layouts--and I'm not sure which one I like the best!  I used templates with both of them--one from Renee Pearson's new class "25 days of Summer Templates" and the other one from a freebie blog template called IB sketch 48.  I used some of the same photos--of Debbie's family in the San Diego Bay!
Doesn't it look glorious?  I had to be a perfect day--look at that beautiful clear blue sky.

So which one do YOU like best??  The first layout  is using the template from Renee Pearson, and the bottom layout is the IB Sketch 48.  I love templates!!  The waves are part of the scrap kit!  Aren't they just the best??

I'm participating in my very FIRST blog hop today!  And I'm also giving out my first freebie!!  The Blog hop is connected with one of my favorite designers, DayBreak Scraps Designs.  She recently collaborated with Girl Boy Girl on their new kit called Pickles and Ice Cream!  You guessed it, it's about documenting your pregnancy!  It's a cute kit that you can actually use for about any theme.  You can find the kit at http://www.funkyplaygrounddesigns.com/store/product.php?productid=22829&cat=5

While you're there buying the kit, be sure to check out the great challenges in the forum!  (especially the template challenge!)  Dawn (from Daybreakscraps Designs) is hosting the June Template challenges here:  http://funkyplaygrounddesigns.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6031
Pick up the freebie template and play along!!  You can receive a new template every week in June!!  Come on, you know you like templates!!

To show the versatility of this fun kit, I used it for a layout of my little granddaughter Hope!  She came to visit today, and my husband snapped her photo while she was playing in the sandbox!  Besides making the layout, I also made a quick page for you with the cute kit!
Here is a preview of the kit and the quick page I have for you! and here is the layout I made of my adorable granddaughter!  :)
