I'm totally excited this week!  I've been picked up by three new Creative Teams after one of the stores I had on my list of Creative Teams unexpectedly closed.  The layout I'm sharing today is from a kit by one of the new CT's--Graham Like the Cracker!  She sells her wares at GingerScraps.net--which is a very friendly and supportive place to play.  The layout I'm sharing today was made with a kit called Sweet Sponaneity, and you can find it here:  http://store.gingerscraps.net/Sweet-Spontaneity-The-Bundle.html .
I also used part of a template called Template 1 from Vampire_Snack.

The layout shows Abby a few years ago, when mom and dad took her to the beach on their visit to California.  The journaling says:  This is one of the few times Abby was at the beach when she was little.

I figured while I was posting PINK layouts, I should include the one I finished up of Abby!  I used a kit from Inkin' Creations called Sweet Pea, and think it fit this sweet little pumpkin!  :)
Isn't she just the cutest thing?  I loved this kit and all the sweet embellishments!  Isn't that tree so sweet?  See how this photo just belonged to this kit?

I've been very busy this week working on Creative Team layouts!  I have a lot of them to share here now.  I answered a one kit call for the first time, and the kit was lovely!  It was by Juliya called Tender Spring!  I loved how feminine it was, and used it to help highlight two very special little girls!!  One is Kelli, and the other one Hopie!  Here are those layouts:

I love how both of them ended up!
Her kit can be found here:  http://www.sunflowerscrap.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=68&products_id=2251

I have a few layouts to share from another kit from Designs by Ashlee.  This one was called A GUYS THING!  As the name suggests, it was made specifically for the guys.  You guys know me well enough to know I LOVE a CHALLENGE, so although one of the layouts is definitely BOY oriented, the other two show the feminine side of that kit!  I'll let you decide which is which!  haha!
The journaling for the Girly Girls layout says:  Journaling says: Growing up in Southern California is definitely a LOT of fun--especially if you can share that experience with sisters!

The Journaling for the Essential Tools layout says:  Jonah LOVES helping daddy with anything that needs fixin! And even with things that don’t need it!!

My third layout with this kit was actually the first GIRL layout I did, but originally I made it with the bracket frame in metal as it is in the kit.  To me, it gave the girls a "too hard" look.  So, I used the metal frame as a clipping mask, and put one of the nice bright papers on it, and now I think it has a better "girls" look!   See how versatile this kit is??  :)  I love the little metal leaves though!  On this layout, I also used a template from Cathja Designs.  I think I've mentioned that I love templates.  Speaking of TEMPLATES--watch for a fun announcement soon!!  :)
The journaling for this third layout says:  What to do with girls?  Well, these girls are quite busy with school
church, and family activities.  They are all excellent students.  They work hard to maintain their grades, but they don’t hesitate to take on special projects.  They also find time to help mom around the house. Mom certainly is lucky to have them around!!  They take turns with the household chores!  Each week or so they switch up the tasks so they all get a chance to try out the other jobs!  That way they learn all the ways to
help out!

Christine Mortimer, designer of Digi_licious Designs sent out the cutest freebie with her March newsletter called Deep Blue Sea!!  I couldn't wait to find some photos to use with it!!  I also found a freebie template online made by Pam Callaghan that I loved, so used that with the kit!!  I'm so happy with the results!  I used some photos of my San Diego family--but I've used San Diego as the title of so many layouts, I switched it up a bit--and gave it a more whimsical title.  :)  If you don't want to miss out on other freebies, be sure to swing by Christine's blog and sign up for her newsletter!  She is VERY generous with her freebies!  You can find her blog here:  http://digilicious.typepad.com/
I joined Designs by Ashlee CT a bit ago, and got to play with one of her new kits this week!  You all know that I love FROGS--I remember when Hannah brought us our first few frogs from a friends house!  She was about four years old, and now she's almost 17!!  So, we've had frogs for our ponds for a lot of years now!!  So when I saw this cute kit, it was the first one I chose to work with.  The name of the kit is Feelin' Froggie, and is filled with cute embellishments and great outdoor colors.  It is great.
This layout is of Micah.  Isn't he just adorable?  Becky took the photos--and they are some of my favorites!!  He's such an expressive little guy, and always full of fun and adventure.  I can't wait to see him again soon!!  I'm so sad they live so far away.  Going through the photos, though, makes me feel closer to him.  Scrapbooking gives me the opportunity to relive some of the fun times we've spent with the grandchildren.  I love them all so much!!  :)
The next layout was also made with the same fun kit.  This layout shows Jonah and Noah about a year ago!  They were so cute playing in the grass!!  They are lovely little boys, and we so enjoy having them visit.  They came up for a short visit for Grandpa's birthday on Monday, but they brought baby Jacob with him too!!  ;) Grandpa took Jacob out in the backyard to find froggies--yes, they are already out!!  They were only able to find one--which delighted Noah and Jonah to no end!!  :)  They are such fun little critters.  (Noah and Jonah, not the froggies!!)

I have a couple of new layouts to share today!  I made them both with the same kit from ScrapperGirl Designs, and it is called Soft Rose.   First I made the layout called Bubbles, but then, after looking at the kit more, I realized it NEEDED baby girl photos, so I dug out the tiny girl (Hopie's) baby photos!!  She was so pink and small and sweet that she fit this kit so well!!  :)

Isn't that a fun kit?  All pink and sweet??  :)
